Calling All Captains來自加拿大，
於2014年組成，
曲風以Pop punk和Post hardcore為主，
部分歌曲兼具Emo與Popcore風格。
截至目前共推出四張EP與兩張專輯，
這次分享的歌曲就收錄在今年一月發行的《The Things That I've Lost》。
這張專輯以直球的方式討論了團員這幾年的真實心境，
包括個人經歷、失去、以及長期在音樂圈與生活壓力下的反思。
這首歌是首內心獨白的歌曲，
同時講述了敘事者對人生沒有期待，
卻又害怕死亡的孤獨感，
希望被認識卻又找不到方式，
所以只能吞下一切自我懷疑，
真實地呈現了"我現在很糟，我不知道怎麼好起來"的狀態，
並且並沒有給出任何正面的鼓勵或答案。
很喜歡歌詞中Burnout跟burn out的用法，
以及fallout延伸出的意義，
描述了更為緩慢且持續的痛苦心境。
