lostprophets於1997年在英國威爾斯成軍，
曲風主要以Nu metal、Alternative metal為主，
其特色是英國腔的主唱搭配非常美式的曲風，
憑藉2004年收錄該曲的專輯"Start Something"，
成功在美國市場掀起不小的風潮。
依稀記得當時台灣代理的唱片背面針對"Last Train"這首歌寫的評語中，
拿blink-182的"What's My Age Again"來比較，
形容歌曲開頭同樣用了類似的riff，
應該是因為這樣所以讓我在唱片行對這樂團產生興趣。
lostprophets實際活動的期間為1997~2012年，
共發行五張專輯，
2012年主唱Ian Watkins因涉嫌猥褻13歲兒童，
以及強暴1歲女童而被起訴(你沒看錯...數字是1)，
2013年樂團由其他四位成員署名宣布解散，
2013年年底Ian Watkins被判入獄服刑29年外加延長監禁6年，
預計最短需服刑至少19年才能申請假釋。
而其他4名團員則在2014年與EMO老團Thursday主唱 Geoff Rickly(當時離團)另組新團"No Devotion"。
雖然2006年發行的專輯"Liberation Transmission"我覺得太pop與EMO了，
所以後來也就沒什麼追蹤lostprophets，
直至2013年看到主唱入獄的消息嚇一跳，
但我一直很喜歡"Last Train Home"這首歌，
該曲也成為他們最知名的單曲，
最高排名告示牌另類歌曲的第一名，
以及主流搖滾排行第10名。
這首歌主要描述敘事者對於愛情的迷惘，
有一點想逃避然後跳上末班車逃離，
但卻依舊想要墜入愛河，
儘管其實並不確定自己對愛情的定義到底是不是對的。

感覺蠻pop的 但還不錯聽
第二張專輯台灣有發 新專輯也即將推出了
反正最近就是聽聽新團 接觸不同類型的
搖滾樂真的是很廣泛啊 每天都有不同的團在發片
難怪搖滾不死!!
