原本以為是首很簡單就可以翻譯完成的歌曲:)
這首歌同樣收錄在BMTH的最新專輯《Post Human: Nex Gen》中，
是首次聆聽全專輯時最先吸引到我注意的單曲，
因為feat對象居然是screamo老團Underoath，
而且不是只有主唱Spencer跨刀，
是連同美聲鼓手Aaron都摻上一腳。

整首歌維持BMTH近期的風格，
從開頭hyperpop的電子音效，
與不間段的氛圍音樂和大量的autotune，
在verse與副歌的部分卻又完美融入了Underoath的screamo風格，
一度讓我夢迴2000年。

首先就表面上看來，
這首歌似乎是在說明斬斷一段有毒的關係，
但實際上這首歌是在批評近期的以巴衝突，
歌詞"Do the waltz with your alibi"，
waltz除了華爾滋舞外，
也可形容一個人輕鬆地完成某事，
藉此諷刺以色列空炸難民營後，
卻以成功殲滅哈瑪斯兩名高層當作藉口。

"And if Jesus Christ returns
We'll just kill the fucker twice"
這句歌詞最早在4/20曝光於BMTH的澳洲巡迴視覺上，
當下就引起軒然大波，
不過BMTH一直都以無神論和反宗教的立場著稱，
早先也有不少歌曲表明過類似的立場，
但最讓人意外的是，
這段verse是由Spencer來唱，
作為福音團體Underoath的主唱，
Spencer在2018的訪談中談到了他放棄基督教信仰的事情，
他表示：
「我並不是說我討厭基督徒，我討厭基督教……
[但是]我的旅程和我在福音樂團中扮演的角色，
讓我承受著巨大的負擔，
我被炎上得很厲害，
並且受到了糟糕的對待。
我並不是說宗教對每個人來說都是錯的，
但對我來說它是錯的。
它毀了我的生活，
讓我變成了一個癮君子，
人們一直對我很糟糕。
在我的一生中，
我從未像成為基督徒時那樣感到孤獨。」

因為無法百分百確定整首歌的方向，
所以我是朝向戰爭無辜難民的角度來翻譯，
包含無法自己決定未來的宿命、背負前人的血債。

my bloody valentine為1983年成軍的瞪靴團，
但我不覺得Oli在這邊有用這作為隱喻或雙關。

謠傳天鵝只會在死前高歌，
所以Swang song被引申為謝幕之作。

最後Outro的部分則是整個專輯概念的一部分，
購買專輯似乎會給個code，
可以到指定網站觀看部分整個專輯所講述的概念與世界觀，
就之前我的理解E.V.E應該是AI，
人類遭到AI的干涉與控管。
而Youtopia則是作為曲目標題也同樣收錄在專輯內，
代表的是一個充滿希望之地，
該名稱應該是源自於烏托邦Utopia。
