Flogging Molly於1994年在美國洛杉磯成軍，
成員共七人，
靈魂人物Dave King曾是知名重金屬團Fastway的主唱，
出生於愛爾蘭都柏林的King在1993年遇見了小提琴手Bridget Regan(後來兩人結婚)後，
開始了Flogging Molly，
並以愛爾蘭音樂加上龐克搖滾的Celtic punk的曲風，
開始在洛杉磯的酒吧演出並逐漸吸引了死忠的粉絲。

2000年樂團推出首張專輯"Swagger"便收穫好評，
同時開始受邀參與Vans Warped Tour及其他樂團的巡迴，
2002年推出第二張專輯"Drunken Lullabies"更上一層樓地打開了該團的知名度。

自己是在大學時期從當時的女友介紹而拿到了"Swagger"這張專輯，
儘管那時候已經接觸了如Gogol Bordello的folk punk樂團，
卻完全沒想過還有與愛爾蘭音樂結合的曲風。

這次分享的歌曲收錄在"Drunken Lullabies"專輯中，
也連同之前分享過的The Pogues - Love you till the end一同
被收錄在知名愛情電影"P.S.我愛你"的原聲帶中，
歌詞的意境與電影劇情不謀而合，
主要描述敘事者離開後依舊會以不同形式陪伴在重要的人身邊，
並期許對方無須太過難過而是要繼續往前走。
