We Came as Romans於2005年成軍，
來自美國密西根州的特洛伊市，
也算是Metalcore的老團了，
成軍後幾經改名及成員更替，
也陸續發行了5張專輯。
在2015年的同名專輯後風格開始轉變，
由早期的Metalcore, Post-hardcore轉變成Alternative metal，
也越加地旋律化。

這次分享的單曲於去年9月釋出，
找來了Beartooth的主唱Caleb Shomo跨刀演唱，
Caleb身為前Electronicore先鋒"Attack Attack"的鍵盤手，
可以說是這首帶有電子元素的最佳合作對象。

關於這首歌主唱表示主要是關於如何應對人生中所遭遇的焦慮，
而他們刻意將歌詞留白，
讓歌迷自行去帶入自己目前所遭遇的困境，
運用黑洞的意象，
去象徵焦慮那如同無止境的迴圈，
就像引力一樣吸住你而無法逃離。
