Hollywood Undead於2005年成軍於美國加州，
曲風主要橫跨nu metal, Post-hardcore與rap rock，
他們在2008年推出首張專輯"Swan Songs"，
該專輯推出即拿下告示牌第22名的成績。
這首歌則收錄在他們2011年的第二張專輯"American Tragedy"中，
這張算是他們突破性的專輯，
甫推出即拿下告示牌第四名的佳績，
讓他們人氣水漲船高。
"Bullet"這首歌的主題很明顯是自殺，
由自殺的過程開頭，
接著由主角本人講述他經歷的過程。
特別的是與灰暗的歌詞相比，
這首歌採用了輕快的拍子與愉悅的旋律，
來做出極大的反差。
樂團對於這樣的編曲方式解釋為:
許多有自殺傾向的人外表其實看起來是快樂、正常的，
但這樣的表象只是因為他們對自己做了最終的決定，
而感到如釋負重。
當初一聽到這首歌，
就想到Good Charlotte的"The Day That I Die"，
也是類似的概念。
