最近忽然想起這首歌，
所以稍微調整之前的翻譯，
重新po上來。
"On My Own"收錄在The Used 2002年的首張同名專輯中，
相較於My Chemical Romance在台灣的高知名度，
The Used身為2000年初的EMO浪潮三大團之一(還有Taking Back Sunday)，
大概是裡面風格最狂暴，
現場也最瘋狂的樂團了，
從文章上方的現場影片就可以看出端倪。
這時候主唱Berts的喉嚨還處於絕佳的狀態，
現場唱起來跟專輯沒兩樣，
可惜在第二張專輯巡迴後他幾乎就再也沒辦法嘶吼了。
這首歌曲非常隱晦，
敘述著演唱者內心的煎熬，
他渴望變成某件正消散的事物或想法，
但他搞不清楚對某人而言，
那事物(想法)究竟是什麼，
他試著釐清卻找不到答案，
而或許不知道才對自己最好，
儘管必須孤獨一人。
