《ANTHEM PART 3》這首歌作為專輯第一首歌曲有諸多意義，
《ANTHEM》最早作為結尾曲收錄在1999年發行的《Enema of the State》中，
而《Anthem Part Two》則作為承先啟後的歌曲，
以首曲收錄在2001年發行的《Take Off Your Pants and Jacket》，
在近期剛結束的巡迴中《Anthem Part Two》更作為不變的開場曲。

《ANTHEM PART 3》曲風上比較接近《Take Off Your Pants and Jacket》，
與《Anthem Part Two》同樣用riff配上幾乎一樣的鼓點開場，
歌詞中像是闡述了整張專輯的核心概念，
儘管遭遇了各種鳥事、厄運，
也不放棄並起身反抗。
Outro的部分是最大亮點，
出乎意料的回馬槍，
