這首歌同樣收錄在SF第二張專輯"Still Searching"中，
作為專輯的倒數第三首歌，
往後接續了純樂器的歌曲"Negative Space"，
以及最後一首歌曲“The Priest and the Matador”.
三首依序講述了敘事者對家人的看法與跳樓的過程，
再到墜地後臨死前的情景。

在這首歌中可以看到敘事者對於原生家庭的不諒解，
以及過去導致的行為與壓力讓他只能靠酗酒度日，
也因此將其導向了悲劇的結局。

歌曲標題源自2004年推出的知名美劇"Lost"，
與該劇第一季第十一集的標題完全相同，
該集劇情主要描述主角Jack決定為了自己，
挺身反抗父親的安排並走自己想走的路，
避免自己犯下與父親同樣過錯的回憶。

這首歌的標題與歌曲某種程度上也反映了男性常見的daddy issue，
daddy issue並不是戀父情結，
但中文目前也沒有直接對應的字詞，
比較是在講父親與子女之間難以言喻的關係與情感，
主唱Buddy童年的時候父親就拋家棄子，
在這首歌中儘管Buddy仇恨著父親當年離開家庭，
但其實某種程度上他選擇自殺斷絕他們家的燈火，
也算是重蹈覆轍了。

以自身經驗來說，
我與父親之間的關係一直很緊張，
從小到大的心願與決議就是不要成為跟其一樣的人，
但成年後在很多關係中，
卻發現自己依舊是成為了自己最不想成為的人，
而這也構成了我自我厭惡很大的部分。

歌詞"I paid the super to leave open the door"，
super是superintendent的縮寫，
有大樓管理人的意思。
