The Interrupters於2011年在美國洛杉磯成軍，
樂團由三位兄弟與主唱Aimee組成，
其中Bass Justin與鼓手Jesse還是對雙胞胎，
早期它們主要作為暖場團四處巡迴，
並多次參與Rancid主唱Tim Armstrong的"Tim Timebomb and Friends"計畫，
這首歌就是當時首次釋出而讓我認識到他們。
之後他們順勢加入Tim主導的Hell Cat records，
截至今日共推出3張錄音專輯與1張現場專輯，
可謂2010年後最棒以及影響力最深的Ska punk樂團了。

Ska punk的全盛時期約莫落在90年代末到2000年初，
當時有好多好棒的SKA punk團躍上舞台，
舉凡Smash Mouth, Catch 22, Real Big Fish, Rancid, Less Than Jake...等，
再早一點還有The Mighty Mighty Bosstones,Sublime, Operation Ivy，
甚至是紅片全球的No Doubt。

但過了2000年後EMO浪潮與Post-punk的興起，
Ska punk就逐漸消失於舞台上，
所以身為Ska punk的愛好者，
看到The Interrupters的出現以及誇張的現場功力，
實在非常開心並期待它們早日推出新專輯啊。
