時隔將近八個月後，
FIR再次推出全新單曲"Watch The World Burn"，
延續之前"Voices In My Head"的歌詞內容，
主要講述主唱Ronnie對抗心理疾病，
以及許多在網路上批評他的黑粉。
歌詞中除了批評很多人靠著在網路上罵他蹭流量外，
更驕傲地提到自己多次靠單曲攻上排行榜首位的佳績，
且多句歌詞都跟之前發表的單曲相呼應，
包含"Hypnotizing催眠"、"Monter怪物"...等字眼，
預計該單曲也將收錄在即將在2023推出的EP"Neon Zombie"中。
另外MV的02:09之處可以看到個金屬裝扮的男子被天降筆電打中，
該片段諷刺對象為知名重金屬樂團Skid Row前主唱Sebastian Bach，
起因於去年九月FIR臨時退出WIIL Rock festival，
退出原因為FIR巡迴用的筆電遺失，
Ronnie甚至在拍給粉絲的影片中強調；
"作為2022年的樂團，你需要你的筆電，
不然就像台沒有引擎的車一樣。"
此事馬上遭到資深電台主持人與樂評Eddie Trunk的抨擊，
其在社交平台砲轟Ronnie:
"作為粉絲、贊助商、媒體，
還要忍受多久這些現場搖滾演出，
變得越來越不現場?"
強力諷刺FIR在現場表演使用大量預錄的音軌，
而非真正的現場演出。
大砲性格的Ronnie當然馬上回擊並附上Sebastian Bach過往的單獨演出影片，
該影片由Trunk介紹Bach出場，
並在出場時於背景撥放假的觀眾歡呼聲，
強調Trunk也在幹不是那麼現場的事情，
因此Bach也加入戰場支持Trunk並一起抨擊Ronnie，
雙方在twitter嘴砲了一陣子才慢慢平息。
而就在大家逐漸淡忘這件事情之後，
(畢竟Ronnie整天跟人吵架XD)
沒想到Ronnie還是沒放下這件事情，
並將其作為彩蛋放入了MV中，
而這也是我覺得Ronnie很厲害的地方，
他看似是個瘋子，
卻是個很有商業頭腦的瘋子，
很懂得運用流量跟爭議性發言去炒話題。
身為一個中生代搖滾迷(90年代末開始聽)，
這幾年全球搖滾樂市場式微的情況都看在眼裡，
(台灣因為草崠所以正好相反XD)
新世代對於樂風的認知正因串流平台興起和playlist而逐漸模糊，
90、2000年初那種各種樂風自成一格並百家齊放的世代，
已經逐漸轉變為跨藩籬的時代，
專輯慢慢變成每年一張EP、多首單曲搶先釋出，
有種全世界都變成日本唱片市場的味道。
比起以往平均兩三年出一張專輯後，
再轟轟烈烈巡迴宣傳個一年半，
然後休息半年再推出新專輯這樣不斷循環的模式，
現在更強調的是如何持續且穩定地在留在市場中，
畢竟更多的平台、機會與更快速的資訊流通速度，
讓新世代有更多樣的選擇。
而有時候看著這些搖滾老屁股，
依舊死守著過往的想法與做法，
市場萎縮卻又同時抱怨或抨擊市場越來越沒格調，
然後不斷緬懷過去的美好，
不禁令我思考，
年輕時曾經叛逆的他們不就最討厭這種事情嗎？
怎麼現在反而變成了無法接受新事物的人呢？
總而言之很期待新世代的搖滾樂能夠有更多的火花，
更多令人驚豔的新星出現，
畢竟就像90年代有Nirvana，
2000年有MCR、FOB，
或許2020年搖滾樂救星會是Ronnie也說不定呢。
