在美國，
每年都有數以百計的樂團冒出頭，
有的一路走紅，
有的載浮載沉，
有的則以解散收場。
該團便是曾經冒出頭，
可惜沒有進一步發展的最佳例子。
Sev成軍於1995年，
來自美國的維吉尼亞，
曲風為另類搖滾與rapcore，
感覺很像早期的311。
最早認識他們是在高一的時候，
一首收錄在farmclub中的"same old song"現場版本，
讓我瘋狂地尋找他們的資料，
但他們一直到現在，
都處於地下樂團的二線位置，
不管在youtube還是雜誌上的能見度都低的可以。
至於farmclub是啥勒，
他是一個USA Network的短期現場TV秀，
當時利用網路票選，
選出網友喜歡的歌手或樂團，
讓他們可以參加一場聯合演出，
Sev當時就靠著same old song的聲勢入選了。
記得那張專輯裡還有阿姆、DMX...等嘻哈歌手，
也有limp bizkit跟ice man的合唱的樣子，
算是十分有趣的一張現場專輯，
整張專輯嘻哈與搖滾交錯。
再來提為什麼我放上的"same old song"會有和尚誦經的合聲呢?
原因Sev有為百事可樂拍了一支廣告，
廣告的背景設定為在西藏的寺廟裡<如果沒看錯的話...>，
在Youtube的旁邊相關連結可以找到該廣告，
所以有和尚的合聲似乎也就很合理了。
他們在2002年由Geffen發行了一張"All These Dreams"專輯，
之後樂手便不斷地變動，
尤其是Bass與鼓手，
在2006年後到現在就只有在華盛頓DC幾個特定的日子表演，
並且沒有相關的出片計劃了，
總而言之，
算是個人覺得十分可惜的一個樂團，
也讓人可以清楚地了解到，
在美國樂團百家爭鳴的地方，
一個樂團要出頭，
真的不是件容易的事情，
也更顯得一些擁有世界知名度，
卻甘之如飴地待在地下廠牌持續奮鬥的樂團，
是多麼的難能可貴。
