The Used在2001年成軍於美國猶他州的奧勒姆，
曲風偏向EMO與Screamo，
這首歌收錄在樂團2002年的同名專輯，
算他們的成名曲之一，
在商業上獲得非常驚人的成功，
許多後續的EMO或Screamo團都將其視為最具影響力的專輯。
歌曲主要描述團員在成名前想要掙脫貧窮與格格不入的環境，
奧勒姆的人口在2019年也僅有不到10萬人，
算是非常小的城市，
也絕對不是個適合發展Post-hardcore或Hardcore樂團的地方，
所以歌曲講的就是The Used當時想要離開當地，
想要成名、想要巡迴、想要擺脫困境的泥沼的心情。
