這首歌收錄在ELLEGARDEN去年年底發行的專輯"The End Of Yesterday"中，
作為該專輯的最後一首歌曲，
歌詞"To the end of yesterday"呼應了專輯名稱。
在錄製這張專輯的期間，
主唱細美帶著團員回到了他過去待過的加州洛杉磯，
以Yesterday代替過去待在LA的日子，
並描述自己對這地方的獨特情感以及對過去的想念。

細美過去在美國加州工作過一段時間，
當時正逢龐克搖滾在加州蓬勃發展的時期，
該時期的經歷更影響了日後ELLEGADEN的曲風，
也讓細美有著不錯的英文能力與發音。
