KennyHoopla是來自美國克里夫蘭的新星!!
最早注意到他是於2020年2月釋出的"How Will I Rest in Peace if I'm Buried by a Highway?"，
該曲結合了後龐克、EMO、New Wave的風格，
配上獨特的斷句與歌詞，
被樂評形容為Bloc Party + Taking Back Sunday的樂風，
讓他脫穎而出並憑這首歌拿下告示牌另類搖滾廣播排名第8名的佳績。
緊接著在2020年10月Kenny宣布他即將推出首張專輯，
並邀請到blink-182的鼓手Travis Barker共同合作，
該專輯"SURVIVORS GUILT: THE MIXTAPE"於2021年6月上架，
整張專輯的鼓點都由Travis負責，
甚至直接掛名為Kennyhoopla with Travis Barker。
專輯內共包含八首歌，
據Kenny已刪除的tweet這張專輯僅花了18天就完成，
但在等待發行的過程中，
Kenny也一度在twiter上表示目前自己正在努力對抗憂鬱症，
導致專輯延後發行。
整體而言這張專輯是截至目前2021年我最推的Pop punk專輯了，
充滿了Kennyhoopla自己獨特的風格，
走在EMO、Pop punk、EMO rap甚至Hardcore punk的曲風之間，
他獨特的寫詞方式與斷句，
算是近年Punk場景最獨特的新星。
而這首歌在youtube播出時就受到廣大迴響，
可以看到一票老Pop punk迷在留言區騷動。
歌詞中的 Coachella 科切拉
指的應該是美國加州的科切拉谷音樂節(Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival)。
最後附上前陣子的秘密現場影片，
雖然嗓音很明顯的不是Kenny的強項(笑)，
但現場的魅力的確驚人，
也希望他可以早日有固定的樂團班底。
