最近聽Spotify聽到這首非常2000年Pop punk的歌曲，
Games We Play於2015年組成，
曲風主要為Pop punk，
成員從小在邁阿密一起長大，
在2018年發行首張EP"Senior Year"後，
於2020年一起搬至田納西州的納什維爾。
受到疫情影響，
GWP在休息一段時間後，
於2021年開始釋出單曲，
第二首單曲"Deadbeat"在2021年7月釋出後，
在tiktok上收到不錯的回響，
於是樂團又搬去LA試圖拓展他們的音樂事業。
而這次分享的歌"I Hope You're Happy"，
其實是2021年9月推出的，
但直到2022年初他們某支TikToks影片爆紅，
連帶讓這首歌一口氣攻進Spotify的熱門前五十的第一名，
也是目前它們最成功的單曲。

這首歌歌詞不太難，
簡單來說就是被劈腿的男主角，
用嘲笑的語氣祝福前任。

有趣的是主唱小時候會喜歡上Pop punk並組團，
源自於其父親與他分享blink-182的"Alien Exist"現場表演影片，
並告訴他這是首關於外星人飛進你屁股裡的歌。
