The Pogues成軍於1982年倫敦，
是一個愛爾蘭龐克樂團(Celtic Punk)，
曲風結合愛爾蘭傳統音樂與龐克搖滾，
因此樂團配置可見高音笛、班鳩琴、曼德林或是手風琴等樂器，
這首歌收錄在1996年的"Pogue Mahone"專輯中，
並被選為電影"Ps我愛妳"的主題曲，
基本上貫穿整部電影，
也非常符合電影中男主角為愛爾蘭人的設定。
曾經有一陣子非常著迷Folk Punk的曲風，
Folk基本上指的是傳統音樂，
而根據國家的不同，
就有不同的Folk Punk曲風，
例如愛爾蘭龐克、埃及龐克以及最常聽見的民謠(鄉村)龐克。
