2005年正式成立的1997樂團來自芝加哥，

隸屬於Victory Record之下，

於2007年4月推出第一張專輯"A Better View of the Rising Moon"，

隨後原Keyboard在錄完專輯後便離團，

於是找來了照片中的新Keyboard和vocal Alida!!

她也是我會注意到這個團的最大原因。

而在今年的五月，

他們推出了最新專輯"On the Run"，

這首歌便收錄於該張專輯之中。

但是很可惜的是，

今年八月初，

樂團的官方Myspce貼出了消息，

Alida和Bass手【她男朋友...硍】被開除了...

原因似乎是因為Alida缺席了該團在家鄉芝加哥很重要的一場宣傳演出。

1997樂風很難界定，

簡單而言就是Alternitive Pop，

他們嘗試著將口琴、木琴和鋼琴融入在歌曲中，

還有主唱的tamborine【自己上維基查，我忘記他中文叫啥...】

帶出一股與同類型樂團不同的清新感和獨特。

而該團的vocal有三位，

歌聲層次分明，

尤其是Alida的女聲，

純淨的讓人很難忽視。

另外推薦專輯中的同名歌曲"On the Run"，

木吉他簡單的弦律，

配上口琴那帶有一絲絲滄桑的感觸，

和乾淨不做修飾的嗓音，

總能勾起聽者更多的迴響。

【雖然我一直覺得我在哪聽過這首歌，

但是是老歌...】
