Weezer主唱Rivers Cuomo於2008年1月出了一張個人專輯，
專輯名稱為"The Home Recordings Of Rivers Cuomo"，
收錄了許多首自1992年來，
他改編或創作且未放進Weezer專輯中的曲目。
Rivers表示：
「我的試錄帶大都是獨自完成，
我試著在歌曲的某個地方來點插電樂器，
點燃歌曲動力，
從一堆東西中理出不錯的節奏，
試著不把歌曲搞砸，
我一點都不怕別人怎麼想，
因為我身旁都沒人，
可以自由自在玩各種音樂風格。」

本專輯中，
除了有經典曲目"Buddy Holly"的慢板外，
還有Rivers翻唱饒舌歌手Ice Cube的"The Bomb"，
在Weezer第一張藍色同名專輯後，
大膽創作的搖滾音樂劇概念專輯"Songs From The Black Hole"中，
被滾石雜誌譽為未發表好歌"Blast Off!"、"Superfriend"，
以及這首在第2張專輯"Pinkerton"後，
把浪漫主義、神秘色彩與悲劇情節全攪和一塊兒的奇幻創作"Lover In The Snow"，
