Funeral For A Friend 2001年成軍於英國，
在2000年英搖橫行的年代，
要以Post-hardcore(EMO)曲風在英國闖出名堂是非常不容易的。
這首歌收錄在他們2005年的專輯"Hours"中，
根據主唱Matt表示：
"這首歌是關於親近的朋友逝世後，
我看見其他朋友與往生者的親人們都非常的悲傷，
但我在現場卻完全哭不出來也不知道該作何反應，
感覺自己格格不入，
所以我想以這首歌向那些人與記憶致敬，"

MV拍的主題很明顯是有關於自殺與霸凌，
所以我在翻譯就盡量往這方向翻，
但這首歌的歌詞其實前後句常常毫無關聯，
有關資料也就上面這段主唱受訪時的回答。
很喜歡這首歌的編曲，
包含前奏的吉他riff，
還有主唱高亢的嗓音。
